Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.
Hope Chapel is a neighborhood church in Conyers, Georgia. We gather Sundays at 10:30am for honest worship, plain-spoken teaching, and coffee that's a little too strong. Wherever you are with faith, there's a seat here with your name on it.
Plan your first visitWhat a Sunday feels like
No pressure, no performance. Just a neighborhood gathering to sing, listen, pray, and eat together afterward.
10:30am worship
About seventy-five minutes: a few songs led by our house band, prayer, and a message straight from the Scripture we're reading together.
Dress however
You'll see work boots, sundresses, and one very committed bow tie. Come in whatever you wore to breakfast.
Kids are welcome loud
Hope Kids meets during the message for ages 6 weeks through 5th grade, and wiggly little ones are always fine in the room with you.
Lunch on the lawn
The first Sunday of every month we fire up the grills out back. Bring a side if you like, or just bring an appetite.
Started in a living room on Milstead Avenue
In 2019, nine neighbors began meeting on Sunday evenings around a coffee table, mostly because they wanted a church that felt like a front porch instead of a lecture hall. That circle outgrew the living room, then a rented storefront, and in 2023 we moved into the old brick building on Center Street. We're still the same thing we were at the start: ordinary people in Rockdale County trying to follow Jesus honestly and take care of the people right around us.

Ways to belong here
Three regular gatherings, each with an open door.
Sunday Worship
Sundays at 10:30am. Singing, teaching through a book of the Bible, communion on the last Sunday of the month, and coffee before and after.
Hope Kids
Safe, joyful rooms for nursery through 5th grade with background-checked volunteers, a Bible story, a craft, and a snack every single week.
Tuesday Night Recovery
7:00pm in the fellowship hall. A Christ-centered recovery group for addiction, grief, anxiety, and the hard stuff nobody puts on a prayer card. Open meeting, no sign-up.
Neighborhood Serve Days
The third Saturday of each month we show up somewhere in Conyers with rakes, paint rollers, or groceries. Kids welcome, tools provided.
